Greenroof adds new life to old roof

Monklands hospital, Airdrie required their laboratory roof refurbishing. Scott Deans from Greenroof offered a solution to meet the requirement.

The solution involved spray applying a special liquid membrane c
oating. Controlling the coating film thickness during application was key to the success of the project. Scott Deans (Greenroof’s director) contacted Mick Warren from Spraytrain.com (independent training provider) and asked for a training course to meet the project’s requirement.

Mick Warren proposed a two day training course: part theory with electronic assessment followed by “hands on” practical. All course candidates were presented with course certificates and reference books (Spraytrain.com’s own publication). Although Greenroof’s staff are experienced sprayers, Scott ordered the the training course to comply with PUWER regulations and staff CPD.
